Sugary drinks rot your teeth!

 

Try these healthier alternatives over the hot summer break.



Smoothies – they still contain fibre from the fruit and will make you feel full, so you won’t be consuming so much sugar. Avoid those with added sugar or ice cream.

Kombucha – low in sugar.

Sparkling water with chopped fruit added – the fruit flavour infuses the water.

Coconut water.

Iced tea with lemon – avoid adding sugar, and avoid the bottled variety which contains sugar.
