David is our principal dentist. He graduated from the University of Birmingham Dental School in the UK in 1984. He practised general dentistry in the UK for three years before emigrating to New Zealand in 1987. After an associate position in Otorohanga he opened his Hastings practice in 1989.
David is known for his gentle approach to dental treatment and his special interest is in restorative dentistry, improving the appearance of his patient's teeth using cosmetic procedures. This includes crowns, bridges, veneers and many other procedures to restore teeth to their natural unblemished condition.
David values the long-term relationships he has established with his regular patients over the past three decades. He is a member of the NZ Dental Association and regularly attends professional development courses to keep his knowledge of contemporary dentistry fresh and up-to- date.
Violina joined us in January 2024 after graduating with distinction from Otago’s Faculty of Dentistry in Auckland.
Violina sees one of her strengths as building good rapport with her patients. She listens and prioritises the comfort of the patient in the dental chair.
In her free time she enjoys reading books, arts and crafts and short walks.
